Sleeping Bags Donation

We donated 50 specially designed sleeping bags providing shelter & warmth to the homeless through the amazing charity Nightsafe. Nightsafe are a local Charity set up in 1990 by a group of local people, with the aim of alleviating the plight of homeless and vulnerably housed young people within the borough of Blackburn with Darwen and surrounding areas. The Nightsafe charity works with young people who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness and will provide accommodation, day centres with information, advice and guidance.

Christmas 2022 Donations

This year we thought of doing something different over the festive period. With the current cost of living crisis, there are thousands of families across Lancashire who rely upon food banks and generous donations from businesses and the local community. We are pleased to announce we have donated over 8500 rolls in the month of December. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers and staff who keep these food banks running.

We were honoured and incredibly proud to be supporting the Community CVS Volunteer Awards in November. This award celebrates the wonderful people and groups who make a difference in Blackburn and Darwen year in, year out, and help to make it a better place. Over the past year we have seen so many people going above and beyond to help and support others making a huge impact to everyone around them.

Blackburn Foodbank

In 2022 we donated over 865kg worth of paper products to Blackburn foodbank. The charity aims to tackle food poverty and hunger in our local communities, as well as across the UK. Blackburn foodbank are are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Lancashire Investors in Community

We are proud to announce we are founding members of the Lancashire Investors in Community initiative launched by Community Foundation for Lancashire. Launched in partnership with the High Sheriff of Lancashire, Edwin Booth CBE DL, the Lancashire Investors in Community initiative provides us with an opportunity to be part of a commitment to make an impactful, sustainable and positive difference to those most in need throughout Lancashire by supporting their Community Foundation.

Blackburn Youthzone

We are a patron of Blackburn Youthzone. The youth hub is located at the heart of Blackburn, and open to young people aged 5 to 19 years old. It aims to change the prospects offered to young people in the area.

East Lancashire Cricket Club

We sponsored the junior cricket tournament at East Lancashire Cricket Club which took place in early November. As a family owned business in the heart of Blackburn we believe the community around us is extremely important.

The Light Foundation

In March 2021 we partnered with Light Foundation to distribute toys to children at Royal Preston Hospital. It was humbling to have helped lift spirits among young people and bring smiles to their faces, at what are very trying times.

Dagenham RUFC rugby club Sponsership

We are proud to sponsor the Dagenham RUFC rugby club to help purchase new pitch equipment and grow the club’s youth section. The club tries to provide rugby for girls, boys and young adults in one of the poorest boroughs of London helping to keep them off the streets and giving them valuable life skills.
